Who we are
The Leak Detection Institute of Australia (LDIA) is a not-for-profit body, currently forming, that is being established to accredit and set standards for the water and gas leak-detection discipline in Australia.
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, and where you choose to give them, your business name, state or territory, the kind of detection work you do, and your message. When you accept the analytics consent banner, we also collect standard analytics data such as pages visited and device type. If you decline, no analytics are collected and the site works fully.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, and, where you register interest in founding membership, to keep you informed about LDIA membership, accreditation and the public register as the Institute forms. We do not send marketing beyond that purpose, and we do not add you to any list you didn't ask to join.
How it's stored and who we share it with
Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, our form-processing provider. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers needed to run this site and respond to you.
Cookies and analytics
Analytics load only after you accept the consent banner. You can decline, and the site works fully without them.
Access, correction and removal
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask to be removed from our records at any time, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Contact us via the contact page and we'll action it.
